400g Fondue Cheese (remove from fridge 15 minutes before)
20cl dry white wine – preferably from the Savoie region
1 Clove of garlic
Pinch of Nutmeg
Pinch of Pepper
Bread, preferably a baguette


Fondue Pot and Fondue Forks
Knife and Wooden Spoon


  1. Cut the clove of garlic in half and rub around the inside of the Fondue Pot
  2. Heat the pot over a medium heat and add the wine bringing to a gentle simmer
  3. Gradually add the Fondue cheese while stirring in a figure of 8
  4. Keep stirring until you melt all the cheese and have a smooth consistency
  5. Season with the Pepper and Nutmeg and stir in thoroughly
  6. You’re all set to start dipping your bread chunks on your Fondue Forks! Enjoy…

TIP: For a smoother texture, add 2 tablespoons of corn starch mixed with 2.5cl of white wine to the pot with your cheese
